Hi everybody! It’s me, Carol, back again. Bob and I are trying to figure out where to go on our next cruise. We have been around the Virgin Islands quite a bit, and of course we just did the Disney Cruise with the kids a few months back. We want to go somewhere different, but we haven’t made up our minds where we want to go just yet.

We’ve been busy opening our fourth restaurant, and it has been such a huge headache! Our staff is great, don’t get me wrong, but there is so much to do when you open a restaurant! We do have a lot of competent people working for us, and they work hard and they do almost everything, but it is the little touches they need help with. Bob and I have been doing this for so long! We can open a restaurant with our eyes closed (almost)!

Finally, everything is almost perfect. The place is open and it’s doing pretty well. But believe me, we need a break, and really soon! So we’re going to do what we do whenever we need a break. We’re going to take a cruise!

Since we’re close to Miami, we tend to leave from Miami whenever we go. This means we have been all through the Caribbean! I love the islands, and believe me, I could go again, but we are thinking about doing something different. We did go to Alaska once (I was happy I didn’t have to wear a bathing suit!) but we’re thinking about going someplace more exotic. We were thinking about Cozumel, but I think they’re still pulling the palm trees out of the pools after that last hurricane! Bob wants to see the pyramids in Mexico, but I think we might leave that for another year, until that area has some time to recover.

Bob suggested a cruise to Bangkok. I’m not sold on that! I think he was kidding anyhow. He was trying to watch the news, and he’ll give me one of his glib answers sometimes when he’s busy like that. Heck, I do the same thing to him when I’m watching my soap (smile). I’ll keep you posted on what we finally decide.
